Accepting a cheque from Adminovate for €25,500 was a happy occassion for basis.point CEO Edel O’Malley and Board Director Eve Finn. After a two year hiatus, Adminovate returned this year, bigger and better than ever before. Relocated to the new business centre in Trinity College, the Conference showcases innovation in people, processes, and technology with the funds industry, educating and inspiring the next generation of industry leaders.

A collaboration between Fund Recs and Norio Ventures, Adminovate exemplify best practice integration of social goals into their business model. Keen philanthropists, the Adminovate team are committed to enhancing the educational opportunities for children and young adults from disadvantaged communities. Each year, all proceeds beyond facilities and catering, go to their two selected charities, basis.point and Trinity Access Programme (TAP). And this year the Adminovate team raised a whopping €51,000+.

Alan Meaney, CEO Fund Recs elaborated on their decision to have philanthropy at the heart of their conference.

One of the hottest topics is around incorporating ESG into the funds industry. And we are proud to have philanthropy at the heart of Adminovate. There is a high level of social awareness amongst attendees and speakers alike and this focus creates the perfect forum for relaxed innovative dialogue around on trend topics.”

High on the agenda for independent directors was the importance of philanthropy and we were delighted to see basis.point co-founder Eimear Cowhey and patrons Catherine Lane and Bernard Hanratty among the panellists.

This gift of over €25,000 euro will make an enormous difference to the educational prospects of many children experiencing disadvatage in these difficult times. Sincere thanks to Alan Meaney, Ciaran Walshe and Des O’ Donohoe from Fund Recs and to Pete Townsend of Norio Ventures, for continuing to support basis.point leveling the playing field for many educationally disadvantaged children throughout Ireland. Inspiring, on so many levels.

Together they have created something truly special.
