Industry collaboration is at the heart of basis.point. Last month, Prestige Patron Amundi offered us the perfect opportunity to showcase our charity in the spectator village at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open over the four day period.

The Amundi Long Putt at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open
And what a week for golf! Carton House provided the perfect backdrop for Amundi’s long putt competition. Bathed in sunshine, the long putt had been modelled on the 16th hole and gave both ardent amateurs and total beginners alike, the chance to win a selection of goodies from the Amundi treasure trove!
With all proceeds going towards helping young people experiencing disadvantage to reach their educational potential, what seemed to resonate with everyone was the fact that Amundi were matching all donations.
Sincere thanks to Grace Burke, Amundi Head of Communications for offering us this wonderful opportunity and to Niamh Murray for coordinating her team of volunteers.
The Long Putt was manned over the duration by a wonderful team of Amundi volunteers. Sincere thanks to each of you. Creating a buzz about the fun interactive experience on behalf of basis.point were volunteers Harry Shaw, Emmet Bolster and Sam Lett. Thank you!
A first of it’s kind, we were delighted to raise €6000 to combat educational disadvantage, we had the opportunity to meet with many of our existing Patrons and many hundreds were introduced to the work that we do. A great partnership that we hope to build on in the future.
Sincere thanks to Declan Murray and Graham Fox, for championing our shared commitment towards levelling the educational playing field for young people throughout Ireland.
Making great things happen together.
