April 2025 Bulletin
Bridging the education gap and amplifying student voice
In this newsletter, I am proud to share our latest impact report and achievements, including Showcase 2025’s boost of optimism, the creativity of Cheyne Capital volunteers, Niall Cribbon’s fundraising climb and the success stories from our programmes. A word of thanks also to IDSA who recently ran a successful table quiz in aid of basis.point. I hope you find it inspiring!
Looking ahead, I encourage you to engage with our initiatives, participate in our events, and continue to support our mission. Whilst our Spring Lunch is sold out, you can still join us next month at the Regional Dinner in Cork, or perhaps play for the Cathal Lavelle trophy in our Corporate Golf Challenge as summer draws to an end.
For collaboration and learning, whilst also supporting basis.point, explore Adminovate, a super not-for-profit conference organised by our Prestige Patrons FundRecs. Details and booking links can be found in our Upcoming Events.
And finally, when the world seems to be spinning uncontrollably in the wrong direction, our focus on bridging the education gap becomes even more crucial. If you are able, please consider becoming an individual Patron or Supporter. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
We greatly appreciate your unwavering support and dedication. Together, we are making a difference and empowering young people to reach their full potential.
Warm regards,
Edel O’Malley
CEO, basis.point
