Together with The Gate Theatre, we brought POOR, Dr Katriona O’Sullivan’s moving story of resilience, hope and the transformative power of education, into classrooms across Ireland, reaching more than 23,000 students.
The project demonstrated the extraordinary power of storytelling to spark conversation, inspire hope and encourage young people to believe in their own potential.

A huge thank you to Katriona O’Sullivan for the honesty, courage and generosity she showed in sharing her deeply personal story with so many. Her willingness to tell that story continues to inspire future generations and remind young people of what is possible.
It was a privilege to work alongside The Gate Theatre to extend the reach of this creative and hugely impactful production.
This award is a celebration of what can happen when arts, education and community come together with a shared purpose.
