“Dough-nation” – Funds Congress kindly donates to basis.point

We’d like to say a special thanks to our friends at Dechert LLP and Carne Global Financial Services, who recently supported us in a very innovative way.

Delegates at their hugely successful Funds Congress event in London had the opportunity to make a Dough-nation to the chosen charities.

The coffee was great, the doughnuts delicious and the dough-nations generous. Many thanks to all for their continued support.

Funds Congress is a central London based asset management conference sponsored by Dechert LLP and Carne Global Financial Services which took place on 9 February 2017. basis.point was delighted to have been selected as one of two charities to whom the Funds Congress kindly choose for their innovative “Dough-nation”.

All profits from coffee or doughnut sales at the coffee points at the conference were very kindly donated by Funds Congress to basis.point and Help for Children. Delegates at the hugely successful Funds Congress were therefore assisting in helping basis.point in achieving its goal of making a difference to the lives of those living in poverty by supporting charities focused on education.

As basis.point is an Irish fund’s industry initiative, it is great to be assisted by generous arrangements like “Dough-nation” at events such as Funds Congress. Special thanks to Funds Congress and to all involved for the continued support.
