Foroige NFTE Competition

basis.point was delighted to be part of the judging panel for the Foróige NFTE International competition, which saw some amazing young entrepreneurs showcase their business and unique ideas.

Eight businesses from all over Ireland were involved in the recent NFTE International Business Plan Competition final, which was kindly hosted by Declan O’Sullivan of Dechert, in their Dublin offices, on Tuesday 12 December 2017.

Adrian Waters from the Board of basis.point also popped in to show his support to the programme and the enthusiastic students involved.

Kone Kollector, who created a product for collecting and picking up plastic cones used in sports and recreation centers, were chosen as the winners of the competition. Thomas Curtin and Dylan Moloney, of Desmond College, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, are the founders of the business. They will now go on to represent Foróige NFTE in New York at the Global Showcaser in March, 2018.

A special congratulations to all the students involved and to Foróige for running such an excellent successful programme.
