Frank Gannon, Partner KPMG joins basis.point Board of Directors

Strengthening our commitment to brighter futures for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, basis.point are delighted to announce the appointment of Frank Gannon, Partner KPMG, to the basis.point Board of Directors.

Over the past few years, Frank has been a committed Individual Patron of basis.point and has helped amplify the charity’s work amongst his peers in KPMG.

Given his executive experience and knowledge of the Irish Funds industry, Frank brings a wealth of insights and perspectives that should enable us to support greater numbers of children to reach their potential through education.

As a result of Frank Gannon’s appointment basis.point look forward to exploring new avenues to strengthen the impact we can have on the lives of the most vulnerable in our communities.

We also take this opportunity to thank Peter Stapleton who after three years, steps away from his role on the basis.point Board of Directors, to focus on his recent appointment as Managing Partner of Maples and Calder and associated additional responsibilities in the CSR space. During his time with basis.point, Peter has been instrumental in opening many doors, he has been generous with his time and expertise and has helped grow the charity to it’s current turnover of €4 million.

Thank you.
