We are delighted to be the local charity partner in Ireland for RBC Race for the Kids global virtual event. And this time all monies raised will fund the provision of laptops and tablets for girls from under-resourced communities allowing them to fully participate in the Teen Turn programmes, gaining valuable skills for STEM related careers .

Emergency Relief Fund 2020
In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic rocked the communities that we serve to the core. We responded by launching a industry wide fundraising appeal to meet their essential needs such as food, shelter and emotional support.
Our endeavours introduced us to new partner charities and thanks to the industry wide generosity, we raised €200,000. Collaborating with charities such as Barnardos, Belvedere Youth Club, Camara, Focus Ireland, Good Grub, Limerick Youth Services Centre, and The Peter McVerry Trust, education continued, families were supported and the vulnerable were not forgotten.

Richard Day put in a trojan fundraising effort and personal commitment in running the Boston Marathon.
The first ever solo fundraising endeavour on behalf of basis.point, Richard has set a high benchmark, raising in excess of €56,700.

Killian is a committed athlete who holds a great interest in the manner in which sport in many ways replicates the ups and downs of the child's educational journey as they face adversity through educational disadvantage. He jumped at the opportunity of a Golden Bib to run Boston on behalf of basis.point. Killian has run a number of marathons notably Dublin Berlin and New York. Boston will be his toughest challenge.
