Leading from the front! Adminovate reaches new highs in fundraising for basis.point.

Leading the way in the #joinedupgiving revolution, the Adminovate Team presented Edel O’Malley and Declan O’Sullivan with a cheque for €20,217, raised from their inspiring Adminovate Conference held earlier in the year.

Adminovate has become a highlight in the diaries of industry figures looking to keep their finger on the pulse regarding trends, in the Irish Fintech sector. And this year didn’t disappoint, with an array of engaging, innovative and inspiring contributions from fintech start-ups, fund administration professionals and industry experts from the investment operations world.

It was an opportunity to share perspectives on the next wave of industry evolution, provoke change and inspire the next generation of leaders in the funds industry.

Established in 2018, Adminovate has gone from strength to strength. An annual, not for profit event, Adminovate is organised by Alan Meaney, Ciaran Walshe and Des O’Donoghue and their FundRecs team, in association with Pete Townsend of Norio.

basis.point is fortunate to be one of the chosen beneficiaries of the Adminovate Conference. In addition to benefiting from their very generous funding, Adminovate also offers us a great platform to build our Patron base.

This year, Edel O’Malley, CEO of basis.point, was invited to speak and highlighted the impact that the Fintech Industry could have on the lives of disadvantaged children by getting involved with basis.point, be that either as a Patron, Supporter or Volunteer.

Talking to the many start ups in the room, Edel outlined how basis.point can provide a well- managed and complete solution to the CSR needs of this growing sector.

Adminovate looks set to take place at the same time again next year and may even move to a slightly larger facility within Trinity to accommodate the growing demand. All proceeds beyond facilities and catering go to their two selected charities, Trinity Access Programme and basis.point, both of which provide opportunities for educational advancement and individual flourishing to individuals who might not otherwise receive such opportunities.

Generous initiatives such as this, enable basis.point to accelerate efforts to level the playing field for many educationally disadvantaged children throughout Ireland.

The Adminovate team have created something truly special. On trend, they provide a liberal environment where independence of thought is highly-valued. Part of what helps create this atmosphere is the fact that at its heart, Adminovate is a philanthropic event and there is a high level of social awareness amongst attendees.

Sincere thanks to the Adminovate Team for continuing to support basis.point. An exciting start to the year. Inspiring, on so many levels.
