September Bulletin 2025

Breaking the cycle: a year of progress and possibility

Every fifth child in Ireland is left behind because of poverty — a stark reminder of the urgent need for change. At basis.point, we believe education is the key to breaking this cycle and unlocking opportunity.

This year, we’ve reached a powerful milestone: over €7 million committed and 74,000 young lives impacted. Our Annual Report 2024 reflects a year of transformation, driven by the generosity of our patrons and supporters, the passion of our volunteers and the strength of our partnerships.

In this issue, we celebrate those who make our mission possible — from inspiring events and new board appointments to the growing momentum behind basis.point Week 2025. I invite you to get involved, host an event, and help us make this year our most impactful yet.

Thank you for standing with us. Together, we’re not just changing lives — we’re shaping a more inclusive Ireland, one child at a time.

Warm regards,

Edel O’Malley
CEO, basis.point
