Governance and Structure

We are pleased to announce changes to the basis.point Board of Directors.

We would like to sincerely thank Mike Hartwell and Paul McNaughton who step down from the Board after five and three years of service respectively.

Mike was one of the original Board members with Paul joining the following year as growth of the charity started to gain momentum. Thank you both for your valuable contributions and for playing a significant role in the establishment and development of the charity.

Joining the Board and bringing new experience, insights and perspectives are Eve Finn and Peter Stapleton. Eve is the Managing Director of Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) in Ireland. Eve is responsible for the overall leadership and management of LGIM’s Irish office and European entities based in Dublin and brings a wealth of international experience.

Eve will join the board in developing our relationships with the many Management Companies established in Ireland.

Peter is the Head of Funds and Investment Management at Maples Group and brings over 20 years’ experience as one of the leading financial services lawyers in Ireland.

Peter is a long-standing member of the Maples Group CSR Committee and has previously acted on the Board of an Irish charity.
